Purpose of Your Website

Be clear about the purpose of your website when beginning a design or redesign project. Experienced professional design companies often require that you answer a list of questions to help them understand your goals and build them into the design but you should support the purpose of your investment with personal follow up along the way.

I would like to thank Rich Ziade of sketch.basement.org for teaching me how to sketchcast.

Chris the new design looks great and nice explanation on developing the site goals prior to designing.

I take it this is a sketchcast. Did you find it easy to sketchcast? You’re reminding me I need to check back in on how to create them.

This is a sketchcast. I bought an from Adesso tablet for about $150 and downloaded the software Rich Ziade suggested. It’s not tough but it takes a little practice - I am not “there” yet.

I also just added a link to Rich’s How-To blog to this post. He has added other sketchcasts as well.
